Beta Program

Packages marked as "Beta" on the main page are still in testing. Smart Dog Software recognizes both beta customers (customers who have purchased licenses for products that are still in beta test) and beta testers (individuals who receive free licenses in exchange for formal testing).

If you'd like to apply to be a beta tester, send mail to smartdog@smartdogsw.com. Approved beta testers will receive free licenses for any packages they test, in exchange for formal testing.

Beta customers

Beta customers (customers with paid licenses for packages still in beta test) will receive priority handling for any defects discovered in the packages they have licensed.

Registration codes issued during beta-test are guaranteed to be valid for the final product, of course.

Note that Smart Dog Software cannot guarantee that data stored with beta versions of packages will continue to work with the released versions, although every reasonable effort will be made to make this possible.
